2011 - A Year In Review

January
January was an uneventful month filled with lots of work and school.

February
In February we got Fabienne, celebrated Valentine's Day, and dealt with a whole lot of snow.

March
March was another month that we didn't do much but work and Josh went to school.
We spent all our free time snuggling in our cozy apartment while it snowed all the time.

April
The weather started to warm up in April.
We went on lots of adventures - rock climbing, finger lakes, movies, dinners.
We were letting out our cabin fever.

May
We spent a lot of time outside going on picnics and to the beach.
We also found out that we were pregnant!
Had a birthday party for my mom and announced the good news!

June
We pretty much spent June excited for the baby!
So much to take in, to read, to learn!

July
Daytrips, 4th of July, parties, hot sunshine.
July was gooood!

August
Went on mini-vacation with Josh's family, Josh reffed soccer, we both celebrated our birthdays, soaked up some more sun, and I packed up the house to get ready to move!

September
Josh went back to school to start a grueling semester, I quit my job, we moved at the end of the month.

October
Started the baby's nursery, made lots of projects, Halloween, got our apartment settled.

November
I started babysitting two 7 month old babies who we fell so in love with, had my first baby shower, got super-pregnant and huge, had Thanksgiving with our families, Josh had a health scare that ended up being nothing.

December
December has been so busy with getting ready for Christmas and getting all the final things done for the baby.
We saw lots of family and had lots of parties.
I had my second baby shower at the beginning of the month.

Here's to a wonderful 2012!
I wish you all a wonderful New Year filled with love and Blessings.
I know this year is going to be another year filled with new adventures, challenges and exciting moments.
I cannot wait for 2012 to begin!

  2. Thanks! Yeah, my mom found her drowning in their pond - the mother left it to die and my mom rescued it!

  3. Just started reading your blog tonight and you are just too cute. :) Can't wait for your little one to arrive soon! The last month is rough, but enjoy your last precious days before baby is your world...not in a bad way, just in a different way. :)

    Happy New Year!
